Pipeline maintenance
The "Interventions" activity covers various operations related to pipeline inspection and maintenance. These operations generally require the implementation of pumping and compression equipment:
- Regulatory hydraulic tests in compliance with the order
"multi-fluids" of 4 August 2006 (amended by the order of 20 December 2010). - Gas pipe drying - essentially with the dry air (or nitrogen) method.
- Mechanical cleaning using pigs.
- Inerting and putting abandoned pipelines under neutral atmosphere.
- Cryogenic plugging (creating a temporary valve by locally freezing the liquid in the pipeline).
