Instrumented tools
Technipipe is the exclusive representative for France of the German company NDT Systems & Services and offers the following internal pipeline inspection services:
- Geometry inspection by "Caliper" tool (GeoPatŪ of MEFS companies, NDT partner).
- Corrosion inspection by LineExplorerUM ultrasound or Linalog HR MFL magnetic or Linalog Quantum tools.
- Crack inspection by ultrasound LineExplorerUC tool (or LineExplorerUCM combining corrosion and cracking for certain diameters).
- For difficult to pig pipelines, KTN offers an alternative for corrosion inspection using Line Explorer TUM, the bi-directional inspection tool with umbilical.
In addition to the inspection results supplied by our partners, Technipipe can carry out fault diagnosis based on the French regulations and a recognized professional guide. This diagnosis identifies which faults are to be repaired.
